Membership Options for the Canadian 5O5 Class Association:

Full Membership:
- Cost: $30 (FREE for youth 25 or under)
- Eligibility: Available to owners and part-owners of registered boats or individuals with a keen and active interest in the 5O5 class.
- Privileges: Full members have the right to hold office, vote, and participate in class championships and other races sponsored by the association.

Associate Membership:
- Cost: $20
- Eligibility: Open to part-owners or non-boat owners with a strong interest in the 5O5 class. Associate members can act as skipper or crew in any class race but are not eligible to vote or hold office.
- Requirement: Each registered boat must have at least one full member (or family member). This category is also open to boat owners who are full members of other national class associations.

Family Membership:
- Cost: $40
- Eligibility: Available to two or more active 5O5 sailors residing at the same address.
- Privileges: Extended to two full members for holding office and voting. All other members in the household can participate in class championships and other races sponsored by the association.
Note:
- Youth 25 or under can enjoy a FREE full membership to encourage the involvement of younger sailors in the 5O5 class.
- Ensure at least one full member (or family member) for each registered boat to maintain eligibility.
- Family membership encourages the collective participation of multiple 5O5 sailors from the same household, enhancing the sense of community within the class.
